Hello, friends! Happy Sunday! In this week's blog we're going to review the topic of becoming a single mother by choice. If you haven't already, please check out episode 60 to learn more: https://www.highvibesandamic.blog/episodes/episode/1e597b6b/episode-60-the-joys-and-challenges-of-choosing-single-motherhood-our-thoughts
First, let's define what it is. Being a single mother by choice means you are having your child completely on your own. From birth to college, you're going to be their solo provider. This is definitely not a very common choice, mainly because the majority of people do need financial support from a partner to raise their children.
Even if your'e part of this very small group and have the financial means to do so, you still need to consider the emotional and physical challenges. Being a parent requires A LOT of work (even though it's so rewarding), therefore you are going to need support from friends or family. That's a fact.
If you do have family support around (grandparents, uncles, aunts) that should definitely make things a bit more tolerable. Is it worth it though? Would you be able to build a solid support system around you? There's a lot to consider before making such a life changing decision, specially because the well being of a child is on the line.
Well, that's it for today, friends! We hope you enjoyed the discussion. Please leave us comments on social media or on the blog post to let us know whether you agree or disagree! We love to hear from you!
Thank you for all your support and have a great week!
Cheers,
Silvia And Veronique
