Hello everyone! Happy Friday! For the ones who live in the USA we're entering a long weekend, with Memorial Day on Monday. I (Silvia) am heading to Reno, Nevada, for a basketball tournament while Veronique is going camping with her family and some friends. It’s the unofficial start of Summer so let’s celebrate!
Now onto the podcast. This past Monday we released episode 89 where we interviewed Courtney Neinn, a financial adviser who turned into an educator after noticing the lack of financial education and parenting. Courtney helps parents and kids understand and change their mindset around money. It was a very insightful conversation as she shared important money tips that can easily be applied to our day-to-day lives.
Some takeaways from our conversation:
1- A home economy system helps teach kids financial responsibilities.
2- Getting the kids involved in financial decision making as well as the value of money will help them have a better relationship with money.
3- Financial responsibility is usually not taught at schools therefore it’s important for the parents to step up and teach their kids about money.
4- When we teach kids about money at a young age, we set the stage for a healthy money mindset and less financial disappointments in the future.

Then on Wednesday we released episode 90, with the topic of Haunted Houses and what to do when you think you live in one. Veronique shared her own experiences of hearing noises and seeing ghosts in her house, while I talked about my own encounters with spirits in Brazil. It was a wild experience! We discussed the importance of setting boundaries and using sage and salt cures to cleanse the energy of a house. We also talked about the option of seeking help from professionals for house readings or blessings. When I feel the energy of my house is off, I usually do a house reading and perform a cleansing ceremony. It works right away! If you’d like to listen to this episode, click here:
If you are dealing with uninvited energies and spirits in your place, maybe you should try making a salt cure. This is what you will need to make a one:
· 1 big mason jar, the bigger the better
· Coarse salt (Ice cream salt is a great option)
· Water
· 6 small coins
How to make it:
1- Fill out the mason jar with coarse salt.
2- Add the coins in circle.
3- Add water all the way to the top of the jar.
Place the salt cures behind beds, side tables, etc. Anywhere you consider safe and out of reach from children and pets! The salt cures absorb negative energies so it should not be touch after placed in a room. For more information about how to make and handle salt cures, listen to episode 33:
That’s it for today, friends! Enjoy your weekend and we talk again soon!
Take care and keep your vibes high!
