Christmas And New Year's Traditions

Hello, friends! We hope you had a great Christmas Day! Now we are now heading towards our New Year's celebrations. Very exciting times!

On episode 54 we talked about some Christmas and New Year's traditions we follow based on our upbringings. Silvia is staying home during this Holiday break while Veronique is in the Caribbean visiting family.

This time of the year is a great time to reconnect with your family and be free from all the commitments of school, work, sports and Christmas events. For us moms it is a much needed break! The school calendar gets very busy from November all the way to mid December, not to mention all the sports activities, the white elephant parties, and so on. It's a lot of pressure on the families, specially on us moms since we are the ones who usually manage all those tasks.

That's why it is so important to take this time, whether you are staying local or traveling, to recharge and unwind. Silvia and her family caught influenza this past weekend so they are definitely not going anywhere! LOL! Staying at home was all that was needed for the family to recover. They were able to have a nice Christmas meal before things went down the following day so that was nice. They are all on the path to recovery now.

Are you ready for 2024? We are so ready! Silvia is going to a super fun NYE party, the first in 10 years (yay!), while Veronique is going to try to find a sitter for her kids so that she can party a bit in Guadeloupe as well. One thing we are doing for sure is to follow some of our own NYE's traditions to welcome the New Year. Checkout episode 54 to learn what they are!

We hope you have an amazing time welcoming the New Year! We wish you all a wonderful 2024 full of prosperity, good health, blessings and love!

Take care and keep your vibes high!

Cheers,

Veronique and Silvia
