Hello friends! Today's blog is about Paul Hunter's extraordinary life story. He is the 19th of 21 children and he was our very special guest on episode 57. Paul Hunter grew up in a very poor family in a small town in Wisconsin. His father died young and his mom worked 2 different jobs to try to make ends meet. They relied on food stamps and the generosity of their neighbors, who would help the family with food, clothes and other household items.
Unfortunately, the mother wasn't able to give her children all the necessary attention and support. She kept herself busy running a homeless shelter and dealing with some of her own personal struggles. That caused the children to spend most of the time on their own, with the older siblings helping raise the younger ones. Life was tough in the Hunter family household but their strong belief in God was essential to make them stay afloat and resilient despite all the adversities.
Paul was the first child in his family to graduate from college. That is something that him and his whole family are very proud of. He's mentioned that his faith in God has given him the confidence and the strength that was needed for him to continue to grow and break down barriers. He is an inspiration to all of us, who could sometimes feel like there's no way out when facing a challenging situation. He's dedicated to help people understand they can take charge of their own lives, regardless of their current circumstances.
